WO1 Seth Magee

Warrant Officer One Seth Magee is the Executive Officer of the 36th Infantry Division Band. He serves as Associate Conductor of the "Lone Star Band." He aids the Commander in all facets of the band's administration and operations. He has conducted the band at significant performances at the Texas Music Educators Association convention, in Saint Raphael, France, and at venues across Texas.

Seth Magee was a tuba player in the 1st Cavalry Division Band and 36ID Band from 2014-2022. He deployed with the 1CD Band to Afghanistan on Operation Enduring Freedom, performing extensively for military and civilian audiences in Afghanistan, Kuwait, and Jordan. He was a battalion human resources manager and knowledge management officer from 2022 to 2024.

WO1 Magee's civilian occupation is band director at Killeen Independent School District. In his five years with the district, he has successfully guided concert bands to numerous contest sweepstakes results. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Ithaca College in 2012 and his Master's in Music Performance from Penn State University in 2014.

 WO1 Magee was born in Concord, New Hampshire, and moved to Texas in 2015. He resides in Harker Heights with his wife, Elizabeth Magee, whom he met in college, and his dog, Finley.
