SPC JON-CHRISTOPHER POPE

Specialist Jon-Christopher Pope enlisted in 2013 as a 94E Radio Repair Technician with the 69th Air Defense Artillery Brigade at Fort Hood, Texas. After completing his active duty service, he transitioned to the Texas Army National Guard in 2017, serving with the 1-141 Infantry Regiment. In December 2020, SPC Pope joined the 36th Infantry Division Band as a 42R-09X Sound Support Technician.

As a member of the 36th Infantry Division Band, SPC Pope provides audio engineering and sound reinforcement support for a wide range of performances and events, ensuring high-quality sound production for concert, ceremonial, and community outreach missions. He also performs as a drummer with the ArrowHead Brass Band.

SPC Pope grew up in downtown San Antonio, Texas, where he developed his passion for music at an early age. He began playing drums for Denver Heights Church of God in Christ and supported church choirs across the San Antonio area through live sound and audio production.

In his civilian career, SPC Pope works as an Audio Visual Technician, specializing in installation, system integration, and live sound reinforcement.
