SPC landon Schwausch

Specialist Landon Schwausch enlisted in the Texas Army National Guard in 2016 to finally take his father’s advice and be in the 36th ID Band. He is primarily a trombone player and has also extended his skills to be the lead singer of Rock Before Dawn, the unit’s rock band. During his career with the unit, he has been part of activation for relief duty for Hurricane Harvey. He also attended the Basic Leader Course and currently serves in the Operations Critical Function Area. Outside of the military, SPC Schwausch works for Veterans Evaluation Services as a Quality Control Support Specialist.

Specialist Schwausch is proud to be the second Landon Schwausch to serve in the National Guard. His father is Sergeant Major Landon Schwausch, retired. Specialist Schwausch holds a Bachelor of Music in Education from Texas Lutheran University and is active in the Austin theatre community. He lives in Pflugerville with his wife, Laura.
