SGT ASHLEY WILHELM

SPC Ashley Wilhelm enlisted on Active Duty as a 42R/Musician, serving from 2009 to 2020. She was stationed in Georgia, Texas, South Korea, Washington, and Colorado. In 2023, she re-enlisted into the Texas Army National Guard with the 36 the Infantry Division Band, where she currently serves as a saxophone player, with a secondary on clarinet. Her military education includes: Basic Leader Course, Master Fitness Trainer Course, Combatives Level II, Equal Opportunity Leader Course, and Advance Leadership Course.

In civilian life, SPC Wilhelm works as a music teacher at Ella Schrolemmer Elementary School in Victoria, TX. She holds a Master’s degree in Music and Human Learning from the University of Texas. She currently resides in Victoria and loves spending time with her family, friends, and two dogs, Penny and Sky.
